The staff were amazingly friendly and efficient. the room was good-sized and newly decorated. - the bathroom was neat. - the hotel has a pleasant view over the garden. - Great setting, adjacent to the restaurant on the first night.

Fairly clean place in functional style with all necessary facilities. Plenty of food at breakfast like pastries, toast and breads. Efficient check-in, generally welcoming service. Cocktail bar and great pool.

Excellent location with easy access to the Wirral, Liverpool city centre, and Ness Botanic Gardens. Top-notch standard king room with beautiful views. - the room had a nice bathroom and a toddler bed.

Delightful surroundings & peaceful, very courteous,friendly, helpful staff. Good location for our long weekend to visit Chester & surrounding area, good breakfast nice restaurant area & outside terrace. Good pool & gym facilities & very good value did not cost much more for 3 nights here with breakfast including than the Premier Inn not far away on the main road. Well worth the money & would recommend to others & would also stay again.

The rooms are all large and newly decorated with big beds. The staff are extremely friendly. The property has a stunning location, really close to the restaurant on Saturday night which was lovely. It is set 2 km from Burton Mere Wetlands.

We had a great time here, the place was cozy and perfect for us, and the breakfast was delicious and served promptly, offering a variety of options - toast, pastries. the service overall was outstanding!

first you mixed up all the bookings for the wedding party then you had no first aider when one of the guest the guest was taken ill.

The location we wanted to be in was fantastic and the breakfast had the right items we expected.

Our room was lovely and big with an enormous comfy bed. We were in one of the Garden Rooms on the ground floor and it was very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a good location just 20 miles from Liverpool and around 6 miles from Chester. There is a Park and Ride service into Chester and there are 2 pubs locally if you don't want to eat in the hotel; one is within walking distance (next door, though I wouldn't recommend the steak) and the other one just a mile down the road with lovely food. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on that but the restaurant looked very nice.

Excellent clean hotel set in its own grounds. Lovely big modern room with good bathroom.

This place has recently renovated, high-quality rooms and the staff are very accommodating during morning check-out.

The peace and quiet no intruding noises from the corridor or from other rooms or outside guests especially as we were next to the car park
